According to Lin Jarvis, the chances of Yamaha having a satellite team again next season are small, as they have to overcome some obstacles in the Iwata team. There are much greater possibilities for something like this in 2025.

Before this season, the Yamaha team was left without a satellite team for the first time in the era of the MotoGP class after the RNF team decided to cooperate with Aprilia.

During the winter break, there was a lot of talk about the possibility of Yamaha's early cooperation with Valentino Rossi's VR46 Racing Team. But the Italian team confirmed that they will honor their contract with Ducati, which binds them until the end of 2024.

"This year we will be without a satellite team. I don't think it's a big tragedy as it will allow us to fully focus on the factory bikes.”

"The most important thing for us is to prepare a motorcycle that will be competitive both this year and in the coming seasons. Of course, we would like to have satellite teams again in the future. There is no doubt about it."

"It is difficult to explain the obstacles we are currently facing. If we manage to solve them, maybe we could have a satellite team as early as 2024. Otherwise, I'm quite sure it will happen in the 2025 season.”
