Yamaha again the fastest

The first race of this year’s racing season will take place on Sunday. The race for the Qatar Grand Prix will be as usual at night and will take place under the spotlight. In the first free practice, the best Yamaha racers were Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo, British Cal Crutchlow and Yamaha returnee Valentino Rossi.

 

In the first free practice on the Losail track, the fastest current world champion was Jorge Lorenzo, who set his best time at the end of training. In second place was the Briton Cal Crutchlow, and in third place was the nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi, who was in the lead for most of the training. Promising Honda racer Marc Marquez took fourth place.
