The final race of the World Touring Car Championship in Macau ensured an incredible victory for Rob Huff, Huff won his seventh victory in Macau and thus earned the title of King of Macau. It was also Lada’s second win in this year’s WTCC Championship.

The whole race was very tense, as Yvan Muller tried his best to overtake Rob, but he didn't succeed. Hugo Valente won the third place after a bad start from the best starting place and thus stood on the winners' stage for the third time this year.

The race was interrupted by a safety car just two laps before the end. Leading Honda Tiago Monteira broke down - the steering mechanism, which forced Monteiro to resign. The Portuguese was therefore the hero of the race, and Norbert Michelisz won fourth place ahead of Lopez and Loeb. Franz Engstler also finished in the top ten.
