Charles Leclerc will start the race for the French Grand Prix from the best starting position after winning the pole position battle in qualifying with the help of teammate Carlos Sainz.

Monaco's title rival Max Verstappen will start the race from second, while the Red Bull driver will be supported by team-mate Sergio Perez, who will start the race from third.

The Mercedes driver, Lewis Hamilton, was fourth, and the Briton with McLaren, Lando Norris, also made it into the top five.

Carlos Sainz received even more penalties due to additional changes to the components of the drive unit, so he will start the race from the last place, and he mainly helped his teammate Leclerc in qualifying. The Spaniard did not officially set a time in Q3, and the same applies to Kevin Magnussen, who will also start the race from the back due to a penalty for changing engine components.
