The Vinales Racing Team, founded by Maverick Vinales ’father, Angel Vinales, will premiere in the WorldSSP300 competition.
The idea to form a team in the 2021 season was mainly at the expense of young riders being able to have good conditions to enter the motorcycle world. The team announced their first appearance at the championships last week, which will start at the end of April in the Netherlands in Assen. The engine will be powered by Yamaha’s YZF-R3 engine. Who will drive for the team is currently unknown.
With the start of this project, the Vinales family will have two representatives in motorcycle competitions. In addition to Maverica Vinales, who competes in MotoGP, Angel's nephew Isaac Vinales will also compete in the Superbike for the Orelac Racing VerdNatura team.
