Kimi Raikkonen is the only racer of this year’s Formula 1 Championship to have ever raced in Imola. The Finn, who started his F1 career in the 2001 season, drove six races there as a Sauber and later McLaren Mercedes driver, but did not win, the only podium finish and his best result in 2003. when he finished in 2nd place, between Ferrari racers, race winner Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello.

The 2005 season was quite different from all the others mainly due to the course of the racing weekend. The starting places were determined on the basis of the sum of two fast laps. One is in the so-called shoot out laps the racers drove on Friday and the other on Saturday, and both times they had only one attempt available, and each racer was completely alone on the track in his lap. The season comprised a record 19 races at the time.

The race took place as usual, except that the racers drove the entire length of the race without stopping in the pits, on the same set of tires with which they drove Saturday's fast lap.

That's why we are for onboard the presentation also chose one of the qualifying rounds from the 2005 season, and the sound of a race car with a three-liter V10 engine is just another bonus.
