152 kilometers of winding Italian roads, with countless serpentines, which do not allow the crews of rally cars even a moment of rest, was the venue of this year's fourth rally for the Slovenian national championship. In addition to the asphalt with an otherwise excellent grip, which is by no means forgiving to the tires, the conditions were raised a degree higher by the strong sun and real summer temperatures above thirty degrees. Rok Turk and Martina Lazar also competed in the Friuli Venezia Giulia rally with speed trials in the vicinity of Čedad and strong international competition, and after tense fights for seconds on Sunday, they deservedly looked forward to new great achievements at the finish line.

In the R2B class, Rok and Martina won first place in a Peugeot 208 R2 and the OPV Racing Cars team, looking forward to a new victory: “We managed to achieve what we came to the rally for - to win! The main challenge was to beat the strong Italian competition, which we also managed at one of my favorite rallies. At the same time, after a tense quadruple fight, we also achieved an excellent result in the Slovenian national championship with second place in the general classification. ” In addition to second place and new points, the team also took home trophies for first place in Division 2.

The national championship continues in 14 days, when the Nova Gorica rally will take place.
