Max Verstappen is the winner of the sixth race of the season in Barcelona. He was joined on the podium by Sergio Perez and George Russell.
Fourth was Carlos Sainz ahead of Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas and Esteban Ocon. Lando Norris, Fernando Alonso and Yuki Tsunoda also finished in the top ten.
The race was best started by Charles Leclerc, who took the lead in the introduction.

Max Verstappen made a similar mistake two laps after that in the same turn. The Dutchman lost only two places and fell to fourth place.
The first regular stops started at the end of the eleventh round. After the first stops, he had plenty of problems with the moving rear wing Max Verstappen, who stayed behind Georg Russll.
One of the last to leave for the first stop was Charles Leclerc, the leader until then, at the end of the twenty-first round.

Verstappen caught up with Russell in the 37th lap, then the Briton drove into the pits, and after Perez's stop the lap later, Verstappen took the lead, making his last stop in the 45th lap. The Dutchman tactically beat Russell, and only his teammate Perez separated him from the victory, whom he overtook in the 49th round by team agreement and celebrated the victory.
Russell put on a set of soft tires on his way to the race car and overtook Valtteri Bottas for third place in the last laps.
Six laps before the end, Hamilton overtook Sainz for fourth place, but the Spaniard hit back in the penultimate lap and pushed the Briton, who, like his colleague Russell, struggled to overheat the car, back into fifth place.
Perez made another stop in the pits, where he put a set of soft tires on the race car, securing an extra point for the fastest lap of the race.
