The teams chose tires for the first race after the summer break in Belgium. The leading team in the World Championship decided on the fewest sets of super soft tires of all on the starting line, which experts described as a more conservative selection.
Both Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg will be able to use four sets of super soft tires during the weekend at Spa-Franchorchamps, while the closest followers will have six (Red Bull) or seven (Ferrari). Mercedes is also one of the teams that does not have the same strategy for both racers. So they decided at Haas.
