The length of the lap in Singapore has been shortened by two meters due to minor corrections on the two turns. The race organizers have slightly changed the sixteenth and seventeenth turns, which is known for the accident of Nelson Piquet Jr. in the 2008 season.

For the racetrack, this means that the length of the lap itself has been shortened from 5065 to 5063 meters. The entire race this year will be 307,706 kilometers long. In addition to these two minor changes, some of the turns have been resurfaced this year. New asphalt was thus laid in the first turn, between the fifth and seventh, between the fifteenth and seventeenth, and the twenty-third turn.
