This weekend, when all speed racing enthusiasts are staring at Formula 1, which takes place in Budapest, another car spectacle is taking place in Belgium. The Blancpain endurance Series was an endurance race first introduced in 2011. It quickly established itself as the most supported and competitive GT race in the world. There have been 3 endurance races this season, but today's will be the first to last 24 hours. At the Francorchamps racetrack in the spa town of Spa, Belgium, drivers competed in a qualifying race yesterday. The fastest was Stefan Mücke, in his Beechdean Aston Martin Vantage GT3. Alessandro Pier Guidi will start in second place, in a Ferrari 458 Italia Racing. On the third is Maximilian Götz in a Mercedes SLS AMG GT3.

The race will start today at 16:30 p.m.
