"We still have a lot of work to do before the long-awaited test. We need to adjust the engine, transmission and choose the right tires. The real challenge will be to adapt to the hitherto unknown route, ”said Dani Pedrosa.
The Spaniard, is preparing for his eighth season in the motoGP class, and next week will have the option of a private test at the new racetrack in Austin. The ordeal in question will definitely be a new challenge for the experienced Spaniard. Finally, the Royal Class had the opportunity to race at the new racetracks in 2010, when trials in Silverstone and Aragon were added to the race calendar.
The test will run from Tuesday to Thursday. The technical rules for this season remain more or less the same, except for an additional three kilograms at minimum weight and a reduced number of powertrain replacements from six to five.

According to Pedrosa, Honda’s RC213V race car has not undergone any major changes since the race in Valencia last November.
“I think the basis of the motorcycle is very good now. The most important thing is to learn more about the motorcycle and to get even more used to it. For example, when you adjust the suspension to know how the motorcycle will react, etc., ”he said.
Pedrosi will also be joined at a private test in Austin by teammate Marc Marquez, LCR Honda driver Stefan Bradl and Yamaha factory drivers Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi.
The third and at the same time the last regular test, with all the teams and racers, will be in Jerez from March 23 to 25.
