German Nico Rosberg admitted that he did not finish in second place in the ad race, but he described the first night race in Bahrain as the most exciting race of his career.

Rosberg started the race from the best starting position, but Lewis Hamilton jumped in front of him before the first turn. Despite many attempts, the Mercedes racer did not change places until the end of the race.

“Of course I am very disappointed. I was faster than Hamilton but I couldn't pass, ”said Rosberg after the race. “Today, it would be hard to say that formula one is boring. It was tense, we fought aggressively all the way to the limit. Several times I thought I had managed to overtake him, but he drove past me again. I don't like to finish the race second, but it was the most tense race of my career. ”

The German, who is aiming for victory in the next race, is still leading in the overall standings of the championship. “We are very strong and it is very nice to have a chance to win every race. I must not forget, however, that I am the leader in the championship with an 11-point advantage. Now let's move on, I will win the next race! ”
