The legendary Schumacher-Ferrari connection is on the track again today. Mick Schumacher, son of Michael Schumacher, sat in a red car from Maranello today as a member of the Ferrari Academy of Young Racers.
With a team writing history with his father behind the wheel, he is conducting testing in this year’s SF90 race car in Bahrain today. On Wednesday, he will continue testing in the Alfa Romeo race car.
For Schumacher, this is the first serious appearance behind the wheel of an F1 race car, after he did a promotional run of Benetton’s race car at Spa Francorchamps years ago.
