Aleix Espargaro set the fastest time (1:38.518) of the second free practice in Argentina. The good form of the Aprilia team was confirmed by Maverick Vinales, who took second place this time.
The Mooney VR46 racers finished behind them. Marco Bezzecchi was once again better than Luca Marini.
The fifth time was set by Johann Zarco ahead of Francesco Bagnaio and teammate Jorge Martin. The best Honda rider was Takaaki Nakagami in eighth place.
Franco Morbidelli and Alex Rins completed the top ten. Just like the last, the Spaniard secured a direct appearance in the faster qualifying group.
Alex Marquez finished in eleventh place ahead of Brad Binder as the best rider on a KTM motorcycle.
The thirteenth time was set by Joan Mir. The racer of the factory Honda team was thus behind the two LCR racers. Fabio Quartararo was only fourteenth. The French driver will therefore start qualifying tomorrow already in the slower group.
Only Fabio Di Giannantonio, Jack Miller, Augusto and Raul Fernandez were behind him.

This time, Fabio Quartararo was among the first to hit the track. The French racer set only the fifteenth time in the first practice session and was thus chasing direct placement in the faster qualifying group.
Augusto Fernandez was the first to feel the hardness of the asphalt in the second training session. The Spaniard fell in the first turn after the front wheel slipped.
After twenty minutes, Alex Rins swung to the top of the table. His time was good enough for fifth place overall, displacing Francesco Bagnaio from the places that lead to direct Q2 qualification. Soon after that, the Italian managed to improve his time and secure a direct appearance in the faster qualifying group.
We saw most of the action in the last fifteen minutes, when the racers were chasing direct placement in the faster qualifying group. Jorge Martin took the lead with the fastest time of the day (1:39.092).
Francesco Bagnaia was the first to go below the 1:39 mark. Eleven minutes before the end, Marco Bezzecchi set the fastest time.
