Ferrari fired Fry and Tombazis
Ferrari have announced that Pat Fry and Nikolas Tombazis will say goodbye to the team, while James Allison will take on more responsibility. Tombazis has been working as the chief designer of racing cars since 2006, while Fry has taken on a higher technical role since coming from McLaren in 2010. The new technical director, James Allison, will be in charge of chief designer Simone Rest and drive department director Mattia Binotto. The changes are part of a team restructuring carried out by new boss Maurizio Arrivabene. He himself will lead the newly established commercial department, and media chief Renato Bisignani has become purchasing and marketing manager. Bisignani's old job will be taken over by Italian journalist Alberto Antonino, who will also lead the newly formed Ferrari dig team.
