After an extremely successful competition in Győr, Hungary, the Maribor students proved once again that they can and do know. On Sunday, September 6, in the Czech city of Most, they won 1st place in the skid-pad, 2nd place in both autocross and evaluation of engineering solutions, and 3rd place in the presentation of a business idea. 5th place in the promotion was shared with the Czech team TU Brno Racing. In the overall standings, the team finished in 13th place. Despite not being able to finish the endurance test, the team ranked high, as the endurance test contributes as much as 45% of points to the total. This testifies to the fact that in all other tests, the team ranked at the very top, despite some bad luck in the endurance test. The team of Maribor students UNI Maribor Grand Prix Engineering achieved 3rd place in the endurance race and 3rd place in the total sum of the dynamic part of the competition within the project Student Formula at the international competition in Győr, Hungary. An attractive motoring event is being prepared this Sunday, October 13, at the Ljubčena car range. More than 80 drivers from three countries have already registered for the skill of driving racing cars, and drivers with their production vehicles will also join the competitors.
