Jann Mardenborough will represent the colors of Red Bull in the GP3 series this year. The 22-year-old Jann persistently honed his racing skills on game consoles, then beat over 90.000 players in the Gran Turismo Academy program, run jointly by Nissan and Sony, and earned the opportunity to sit in a real racing car. He will race for Arden International, led by Red Bull boss Christian Horner. “I feel like I’m ready for GP3,” Mardenborough said. "I have prepared well and I have all the right people around me to help me develop so that I can fully dedicate myself to racing. This season I have the opportunity to impress many people in this sport who decide who gets into Formula One and who doesn’t and I will do my best, ”Mardenborough added.

Japan's Honda will financially support the McLaren team, German media claim.
