Formula 1: Start of the 2021 season postponed to Bahrain
We have seen more and more signs since the beginning of this year, and now it is official. Formula 1 will not run the inaugural race in Australia scheduled for March 21 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Also, the third race of the championship, the Chinese Grand Prix, which would be scheduled for April 11, will not be carried out according to the original plan. While a reserve date has been set for the Australian Grand Prix race on November 21, talks with those responsible for the Chinese Grand Prix race are still ongoing. The start of the season is thus postponed to March 28, when the Bahrain GP is scheduled. In order to fill the gap in the calendar, Imola, which was given an appointment on April 18, will jump in for this purpose. The Italian traditional racetrack hosted the Formula 1 caravan last year, when the Formula 1 officials managed to run instead of 22 races.
