The two fastest achievements among front-wheel drive racing cars in the prologue of Terme Tuhelj meant a great introduction to the Kumrovec rally for Rok Turk and Martina Lazar. They and the Peugeot 208 R2 finished in 3rd place in the overall classification of Friday's spectacle, ahead of them were only the R5 class racing cars, and they won among the racing cars with a drive on the front pair of wheels. Tomorrow, in Kumrovec, Croatia, it really begins, when the crews will face 42,5 kilometers of speed tests: "An excellently prepared introduction to the rally, I was impressed above all by the large number of spectators! But tomorrow, a completely different story awaits us: narrow roads with a lot of bends, a lot of sand and a lot of mud. Rain and challenging macadam conditions spiced up Sunday's Ronda Terra del Friuli rally. In the Peugeot 208 R2, Rok Turk and Martina Lazar coped with a lot of water and mud, and they did well in the difficult conditions and took home the trophy for the victory in the R2B class. The whole team was of course happy about the first place in the race in Italy: "It was definitely one of the more difficult races, especially for the racing cars, because there were a lot of holes on the macadam surface during the day, which could not be avoided when driving on an ideal line. Martina and I successfully navigated through all the puddles and holes, and achieved another excellent result with fast times!"
