McLaren has hired Red Bull's engineering chief
From 1 January 2024, the McLaren team will be strengthened with Red Bull know-how, as Rob Marshall, who until today, when he irrevocably resigned from his position at the team, worked as the chief engineer in Milton Keynes, will join their team. Marshall has been a member of the Red Bull team for the past 17 years, and before that he was employed by the Renault team, where he developed the famous "mass damper" that helped the French team to the Constructors' Championship titles in 2005 and 2006. He will take up the role of technical director at Woking. At Red Bull, they admitted that they will miss the Briton, but they still wished him as much success as possible in his new role.
