Some time ago we reported that autocross is finally returning to Slovenia. Now we also know the calendar of races that will be considered the Slovenian national championship, but only these will be run on Croatian soil, together with the Croatian championship, as we do not yet have a suitable autocross track. The Slovenian Motorsport Association AŠ2005 warns that calendar additions are still possible, which leaves the door open for Slovenian organizers as well. AŠ2005 collects registrations of associations and drivers until March 5, and despite the published calendar, the autocross season is still not fully guaranteed, because in case there is not enough interest by the application deadline, the championship will not be held (Lack of interest of racers was also the main the reason that the autocross championship has not been held in our country so far).

Despite the organizers' predictions that the ninth stage will be dune again, there were only about 30 kilometers. A good-natured Resident finished the day in 32nd place; in total it is the twenty-ninth. At the finish of the stage, the fastest known trio are Coma, Barreda and Despres. Although the organizer announced dunes for today, when the competitors reached the northernmost point of this year’s rally, these were just for a sample. Slovenian representative Miran Stanovnik said that only about 30 out of the 422-kilometer speed test were navigational and technically demanding: “The stage brought very fast sections and only a shorter navigation-demanding section. I drove without a single mistake. If I could add another mile per hour of speed it would be ideal, otherwise I am very happy with the stage.

This stage did not suit the Slovenian representative, 49-year-old Miran Stanovnik: “There are no such stages

The fact that the KTM factory team’s motorcyclists have always stood on the podium in the last 12 performances of the Dakar Rally is no coincidence. In addition to top-class racing on desert dunes, the Austrian manufacturer has also built its dominance over the years through the sophisticated, systematized and methodical work of the accompanying teams. The plan for the upcoming 13-stage desert classic is simple: the Red Bull KTM Factory Team wants to continue and upgrade its success. In South America, the team’s strongest weapons will be three-time Dakar winner Marc Coma, along with Ruben Faria and Chaleco Lopez, also old acquaintances of the podium. The KTM 450 racers and their engines will be taken care of by a 34-member technical and logistics team in South America. Preparations for this spectacular

Frequelin left the team at the end of 2007 but remained Loeb's adviser. He is convinced that the Frenchman can reach for his first victories in his inaugural season of the WTCC World Touring Car Championship. "There's a big difference between speed trials and rally racing, but Sebastien has tested a lot. He showed what he's capable of with his GT race car," Frequelin said. "He will be fast in dry conditions and much much faster in the rain. He may need one season before he can compete on an equal footing with teammate Yvan Muller, but after that he will also be able to win the world title. I hope he will be at

On Sunday, September 22.9.2013, 2, the 9nd Drift Power Cup took place at the Blagomix racetrack in Logatec. As the foggy morning began to clear, the loud engines of the race cars also began to wake up, making sure the surroundings of the racetrack woke up to a sunny morning. At exactly 24:XNUMX a.m., the first racers began the warm-up laps. As the ground was still slightly slippery from the morning dew, quite a few drivers ended up in a cloud of smoke as it turned them around in the corners. That soon changed, as the newly laid track allowed for spectacular drifts and allowed race cars to reach high angles. Competitors were able to practice drifting with a co-driver, as the DRIFT TAXI took place until the qualifications, where each visitor could indulge in some adrenaline-filled laps in the passenger seat.
