Mercedes W08 is already on the track!
This year's Mercedes W08 race car has already taken the first laps in Silverston as part of the shooting of promotional material. It was driven by Lewis Hamilton, and the official presentation of the car will follow in the next few minutes. The Mercedes team has dominated since the introduction of the 1.6-liter six-cylinder powertrains in 2014, and so far they have won three consecutive world titles among constructors as well as among racers. This year, Hamilton was joined in the team by Finn Valtteri Bottas, who replaced current world champion Nic Rosberg in the second race car. More pictures and data to follow ....
