The winners of the F1 Grand Prix races from today's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will also receive medals along with the winner's trophy, which will remain in their personal possession. Racers do receive trophies for the first three places, but most of them are kept by the teams, and the racers have to make do with replica trophies. The medals, which will be awarded by the FIA from today, will be "a unique personal memento of the achievement" of the racers.
