Parry concluded with a McLaren award test
The 2013 BRDC Autosport Award winner Matt Parry has finally come to his own. Parry passed a test of the McLaren MP4-26 car, with which Jenson Button won the Canadian Grand Prix in 2011. Matt came to the award after winning the title in the Renault Northern European Cup formula. Parry has already tested a Renault 3.5 and Formula 3 car, but as he says, nothing else can be compared to Formula One: “This is really a phenomenon, I can't find another word. It's hard to describe how fast the car is. I’ve never driven anything so fast before. Every gear has full power, that’s really amazing speed.
