The organizers of the Gorjanci mountain speed race announced the list of registered racers today. This year, it is only slightly reduced, especially as far as Slovenian racers are concerned, and according to the president of the organizing committee Viktor Levec, these are objective reasons. 66 racers registered for the race in Gorjanci, thirty of them Slovenes, and the organizers believe that this was due to the busy season. This year, four races for the national championship will take place in a month. Ilirska Bistrica will once again be a treat for petrol enthusiasts this year

Every year, the mountain speed race in Ilirska Bistrica attracts many attractive race cars and the best racers in Europe. This year is no different. The deadline for registration for the race expires only on Monday, but we already find Igor Deklevo, a returnee to the racetracks, who will compete with the Mitsubishi Lancer on the incomplete list of entries. The race in Lučine ended prematurely

The mountain speed race in Lučine ended prematurely. In the third run, full of interruptions, Istvan Kavecz and his BMW damaged the guardrail so badly that it could not be repaired to such an extent that the last run could be carried out safely until the end. This was canceled and the results after the second run took effect. This year's victory in Lučine goes to the Italian Federico Liber with the Gloria C8F formula, who beat the Czech Vaclav Janik by a good two seconds. The third was Laszlo Szazs. The racers in Lučine did their training before tomorrow's race

The racers completed three training sessions in Lučine today before tomorrow's race. The trainings, where many racers drove their cars on the track towards Lučine for the first time in their careers, took place without any major peculiarities, but we saw some technical failures and mistakes of the racers. Among them, if not the biggest, probably the most expensive of all, the one done in the second training session by the Englishman David White, who crashed into a protective fence with his legendary Porsche Spyder Special and damaged the race car worth six hundred thousand.
