Di Montezemolo leaves Ferrari
Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has confirmed he is stepping down after almost 23 years, although he said last weekend that he did not intend to do so. After a disappointment at Ferrari's home race in Monza, Sergio Marchionne, head of the Fiat group, which also owns Ferrari, said no one was indispensable, and this morning an official press release went around the world, in which di Montezemolo wrote: "A period is coming to an end and I decided to leave the presidency after almost 23 wonderful and memorable years, in addition to all those I spent with Enzo Ferrari in the 67s." The XNUMX-year-old Italian paid tribute to all Ferrari employees, team partners and fans, and wished Ferrari all the best for the future.
