76 competitors meandered between the cones in the autoslalom competition at the Ljubečna polygon. A beautiful Sunday also attracted spectators who enjoyed the sight of the attractive rides. The race allowed drivers with a valid driver’s license and a serviceable vehicle to safely release their adrenaline. As this was the 10th car slalom prepared by the members of the AMD Šempeter association, several prizes were prepared for both drivers and visitors. One of the visitors was able to ride with an attractive fan and driver Jan Jurška on the track for competitors and thus also experienced a ride in autoslalom. Drivers competed in six categories. In the first four, the organizers ranked them according to the engine capacity of their vehicle, women and the elderly in their category also had their own category.

The first autoslalom of this year is being prepared this Sunday at the car range on Ljubečna. Among the cones, as many as 90 competitors will be tested in the skill race, as many as have already registered with pre-registrations. The organizers from AMD Šempeter expect a few more, as they will also accept applications on the day of the competition. Dragan Gajič will try to defend his victory last year. At the start, visitors will also see the best car slalom drivers in Austria, among them Patrick Mayer, last year’s champion in his class at the Slalom Race Cup. In addition to the attractive rides of the competitors, the electric vehicle Dacia Sandero of the students of the Secondary School for Service Activities and Logistics at the Celje School Center will certainly attract attention. During the break, they will take care of demonstration rides around the polygon, spectators
