The very successful Slovenian team Lema Racing and the well-known IK Sport are preparing an interesting cup competition in mountain speed races for this season together with the company Silux. The Silux Cup will comprise four races, which will also count as the Slovenian Mountain Speed National Championship, and the racers will compete in them with six Renault Clio Cups of two generations and two Škoda Fabia R2s. To prove themselves primarily to racers and not race cars, more powerful cars will be weighted down so that the weight-to-power ratio of all race cars will be the same. The praiseworthy enrichment of the Slovenian racing scene will also enjoy excellent media coverage, as Planet TV will prepare reports after each race with many footage from the track and race cars, numerous conversations with racers and not yet
Nobody in the Slovenian LEMA team imagined such an outcome of the season. In the last race of the hard and long Eurocup Clio season at the Spanish Motorland Aragon, Ivan Pulić celebrated a well-deserved victory. Encouraging results of free practice showed that the team has the necessary speed for a top result this weekend. Croatian driver Ivan Pulič took fourth place, while Czech driver Tomas Pekar, who also competes for the LEMA team at the end of the season, took 13th place in the competition of twenty-four drivers who reached the final event. During the season, 35 competitors competed in each race at the same time! The leader of the team, Mirko Marinšek, was restrained before the races and hoped that the drivers would not do anything stupid on the track. On qualifying
Between 23 and 25 August 2013, for the second time this year, Slovenian competitors in the circuit speed championship gathered at the Slovakiaring racetrack in Slovakia. The two races were probably also decisive in the fight for the national title. The weekend was marked by Zoran Poglajen in the general classification of the open national championship in circuit-speed races with the Renault Clio Cup of the new generation and Aleš Bužga in the attractive LEMA GP Cup. The first race of the weekend, which took place on Saturday, started on a slightly wet track. Zoran Poglajen won in the general classification, followed by Jure Marinšek, a newcomer to the circuit races Simona Premrl and David Šuster. Unfortunately, Željko Čumurdžić finished his performance in the fourth round. In the LEMA GP Cup, Ale won with a small Fiat Grande Punto
