
Crutchlow on upcoming record-long season: 21 races is too many
Cal Crutchlow recently gave his opinion on the increasingly long racing calendar. In the coming season, the racers will have a record long season - 21 races. As many as ten of these (if we include Kazakhstan) will take place outside of Europe. The Briton, who has the role of a Yamaha team test rider, added that the longer calendar will present much greater problems to some racers and team members than to others. "Personally, I think the calendar is too long. It will be difficult especially for those who have families. The younger ones probably don't pay too much attention to it, while Aleix Espargaro and similar individuals with families could have more problems, because there will be two months from home." According to him, the ideal number of races per season would be 18. "I think 18 races is quite enough, but I'm not the one who
