Mass misleading of hybrid vehicle buyers
From the UK comes news revealing a massive misleading of hybrid car buyers about the average fuel consumption of this type of vehicle, as Honest John employees conducted an extensive survey revealing that 98 per cent of official vehicle manufacturers ’statements about average consumption are in their serial hybrid models very far from real numbers. The British findings are based on figures obtained from around 148.000 ‘Real MPG’ (Miles per gallon) reports by Honest John visitors about the 39 serial hybrids currently available to UK customers. Of all such cars, only one hybrid car boasts realistic indications of average consumption, with all others showing significant deviations from official figures.
