The Williams team was a bit surprised and was the first to present their car this year. The FW37 was first available on the cover of the famous F1 Racing magazine, and soon after on the team's website. At Williams, they hope to be able to continue the positive trend of successful results last season this year. “In designing the FW37, we looked back at last year’s race car, and tried to transfer things that worked well to the new one, while also focusing on areas where we saw we still had plenty of room to improve,” Pat Symonds explained. "Although the aerodynamics on last year's car were very good, we were able to improve in this area this year mainly due to the new rules regarding the nose of the car." Susie Wolff will drive a Williams FW37 race car for one day in mid-February. Wolff joined the Williams team in 2012 and recently progressed from development racer to test driver. The first winter testing will take place between 1 and 4 February in Jerez, followed by two tests in Barcelona between 19 and 22 February and between 26 February and 1 March. The Williams team finished third last year in the championship, and this season they will be competing with the unchanged driver line-up of Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas.
