MotoGP, Jerez: Binder fastest on FP1, Marquez 3.
KTM racer Brad Binder was the fastest in the first free practice for the Spanish GP in Jerez. The South African was 0.191 seconds faster than Aleix Espargaro on the Aprilia motorcycle, and Marc Marquez was third, with 0.278 seconds worse lap time. The Honda racer achieved time with a little help from teammate Paul Espargaro. Francesco Bagnaia and world championship leader Fabio Quartararo also finished in the top five.
