Alonso returns to Formula 1
According to BBC Sport, Fernando Alonso is about to sign a contract with Renault and return to Formula 1 next season. The Spanish racer will return to the sport, which he left tired of the mid-table fight in 2018. He is returning to the team with which he reached the peak of his career in 2005 and 2006, when he conquered the entire competition twice in a row. He will replace Daniel Ricciard, who is moving to McLaren, on the French team. The decision is certainly surprising, as McLaren's uncompetitiveness was the main reason for his departure from Formula 1 at the end of 2018. However, with his arrival, the whole event on and off the track will be even more interesting.
