A false eyewitness to Schumacher's fall
The French public prosecutor said on Sunday that he wanted to obtain a video of the accident of Michael Schumacher, which was allegedly recorded with his phone by an unnamed eyewitness, who reported less than a week after the accident of the former world champion. The Schumacher family provided investigators, who will release the results of the investigation on Wednesday, with a camera mounted on Michael's helmet at the time of the crash. But prosecutor Patric Quincy said he would also like to obtain a copy of the footage, which, according to German Der Spiegel, was taken by a 35-year-old eyewitness. He is said to have filmed his girlfriend on the ski slope and also accidentally filmed Schumacher's fall. An eyewitness told Spiegel that before the fall, Schumacher descended carefully and slowly, around 20 kilometers per hour, between two arranged parts of the ski slope.
