
He wins the Russian race in Brazilian hands
Moscow was the penultimate stop of the FIA Formula E championship last Saturday and the scene of Nelson Piquet’s second win (Nextev TCR) of the season. With the victory, the Brazilian increased his advantage in the overall standings, the top of which is the same as the result of the Moscow race: Lucas di Grassi (Audi Sport Abt) was second and Sébastien Buemi (e.dams-Renault) third. The latter received a 29-second penalty mark-up after the race and therefore slipped to ninth place in the official standings. Nevertheless, the e.dams-Renault team, with Buemi's ranking and the fastest lap of the race and Prost's eighth place, won so many points that it has a solid advantage in the overall standings before the final races, which will take place in London at the end of the month.
