Unofficially, the development of the second generation Phaeton has been halted. The prestigious Volkswagen is said to be too expensive, they calculated. The Audi A8, on the other hand, is about $ 8 cheaper, but it makes a profit. VW is therefore not yet ripe for the prestigious class from which the EOS has been withdrawn in the past. In any case, the men at VW are working to find a solution for the prestigious sedan, which was created on the orders of Ferdinand Piech.
