So far, only 18 Slovenians are on Lavanttal

The Lavanttal Rally will also mark the beginning of the Slovenian National Rally Championship this year. Both we and the spectators are saddened by the fact that only 18 Slovenian crews have registered for it so far, compared to 28. Last year, despite the reduced number of participants in the first of seven rallies this season, we expect this number to increase if not before, at five domestic events. Also this year, the big favorite of the season is Aleks Humar with a Renault Clio R3, who pulled his car well after the winter sleep at the Rebenland rally, which was considered the Mitropa Cup. There was also Asja Zupanc with a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX, who will be the only Slovenian participant in the all-wheel drive car at the Lavanttal Rally. The first race of the circuit speed championship is over

This weekend, April 26-28, 2013, the Slovenian National Circuit Speed Championship and the LEMA GP Cup started at the popular Slovakiaring racetrack. For the first time, our national championship was held the same weekend together with the World Touring Car Championship - WTCC, for which we should also praise the umbrella association AŠ 2005 and Drago Božič. Most of the fights were, of course, in the LEMA GP Cup, where youngsters and newcomers surprisingly reigned supreme. Already in Saturday's race, Metod Počkaj took the first place, moving from a more powerful Volkswagen Beetle to a small, but agile and interesting fiat grande punto car. 51 racers on a reliquary in Logatec

This weekend, the second parallel reliquary race for the Slovenian national championship is taking place at the Blagomix racetrack in Logatec. Fifty-one racers are on the list of applicants, and today they will have free practice before tomorrow's qualifications and the race. After the race in Vransko, Gorazd Prosenc leads in division one, Leon Vodopivec in division two and Tomaž Vodišek in division III. Nik Kimovec is at the top in the youth championship for drivers under 21. In the Grande Punto Cup, Domen Rode is in the lead, while in the FIAT Grande Punto Youth Championship, Klemen Popit is leading among drivers under 21, who is in seventh place in the overall standings of the Punto Cup.
