AMG GLA 45 Brabus conversion

Automotive
German carmaker BRABUS has unveiled its new product. They started redesigning the Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG. A redesigned GLA 250 and 220 CDI are also available, but the most attractive is still the GLA 45 AMG. With 394 horsepower and a more aggressive look, it represents a race car on city roads. Brabus says the car is capable of 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.4 seconds. The price is not yet known, but if we lease to deduct € 45 for a regular GLA 40.000, the redesigned version will be much more expensive. Despite the price, the car has a three-year warranty or a warranty of 100.000 kilometers.

The engine specifications for the replacement of the legendary Mercedes-Benz SLS, with the original GT abbreviation, will be officially unveiled in September this year. Thus, instead of the 6.2-liter naturally injected engine, the Mercedes-Benz GT AMG will have only a 4.2-liter 8-cylinder with two turbochargers mounted on top of the V-shaped engine. The advantages of such an installation are lower exhaust emissions, a more compact engine design and optimal use and response of the turbines. Even though the engine is smaller than its predecessor, it still has 510 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque, which will put all that power on the rear two wheels. Also interesting is the (dry) weight of the engine, which measures 209kg, which is 4kg more than the SLS. Since the GT AMG will also be smaller than the SLS, it will also be lighter and the comparison between the two will be very interesting. With various savings

The Williams team has confirmed a long-term cooperation with Mercedes Benz, which will supply its powertrains to the team from Grove from next season onwards. Toto Wolff, a former Williams shareholder and co-owner of Mercedes-Benz, confirmed last week that the Williams team was among those to whom Mercedes offered its engines, and today it was announced that they had reached an agreement with the British team and signed a multi-year contract. From next season onwards, racers will have to drive a 300-kilometer race with just 100 kilograms of fuel. The powertrains will be smaller, a 1.6-liter V6 with a turbocharger. Engine manufacturers are aiming for engines to produce as much power as this year, so they will need to be around 30 percent more efficient in their operation. To this
