Clarkson attacked the producer

Jeremy Clarkson, the controversial host of the popular British show Top Gear, allegedly even wanted to hit him during a dispute with one of the producers of the British television company BBC. When the BBC executives heard about it, Clarkson was immediately suspended, and the next Top Gear show, which aired this Sunday, will not be aired for now. The same fate awaits the remaining two episodes of this year’s Top Gear season, until the investigation into the incident is completed.

Recent alleged racist statements by Jeremy Clarkson, one of the three faces of the popular automotive show Top Gear, have fallen on deaf ears despite the efforts of the yellow media. Clarkson has signed a new three-year contract with the British house BBC for 15 million euros over the next three years. Top Gear has been by far the most watched show in the UK for several years now, as well as in many parts of the world. Last season, the show was watched by more than 5 million viewers on the Island alone, and another 350 million elsewhere in the world in 170 countries. To continue with Top Gear or not is not such a difficult question, as the show brings the BBC a profit of around 185 million euros. However, Richard Hammond and James May are still waiting for the contracts to be extended, which is only a matter of time.
