Iz moštva Red Bull so potrdili, da bo po mnenju mnogih najbolj dominanten dirkalnik letošnje sezone F1, na naslednji dirki prejel paket novosti. Novico je izdal svetovalec ekipe Helmut Marko, ki je za OE24 povedal: "V Barceloni bomo preizkusili nekaj novega." Kakšne novosti bomo videli na dirkalniku RB19 še ni znano, bo pa teh kar nekaj tudi na drugih dirkalnikih. Pri Ferrariju so že za dirko v Imoli pripravili novo zadnje vpetje koles, ker pa je bila dirka odpovedana, bodo novost prvič uporabili v Montmelu ta konec tedna. Tudi pri Mercedesu, kjer so v Monaku prvič nastopili z novimi stranicami dirkalnika W14 ter sprednjim vpetjem koles, bodo v Španiji dodali nekaj novih delov, enako pa obetajo tudi pri Aston Martinu.

McLaren has hired Red Bull's engineering chief
