Former owners Vijay Mallya, Subrata Roy and Michiel Mol have also found themselves in trouble as Mallya is not allowed to leave the UK and Roy is already serving a prison sentence.
The purchase or investment probably means that Lance will transfer to his father's team, and the space for him is supposed to be vacated by Esteban Ocon, who is already in talks with Renault. This will trigger a wave in the racing market, as Carlos Sainz, according to German colleagues, will transfer from McNarn from Renault shortly after the end of the summer break, ie around the Belgian GP, for which Fernando Alonso, a temporarily vacant seat at Force India will be warmed up by Mercedes ’young racer George Russel until Stroll arrives.
