Bruno Spengler has a very positive view of the two-race racing weekend, which he believes will be good for both racers and fans. Bruno will be in the DTM championship for the eleventh year this year, where he also won the title in 2012, and he describes the change in two races on the race weekend very positively: “We will all win. Driving on Fridays will also be good for the fans, who will see the action on the track on the first day. Everything will take place continuously, in one day there will be training, qualifications and also a race.

It will be hard to catch your breath at all, but I still believe it will be good for everyone. I am really looking forward to this very tense season. In any case, this does not mean that we will have an easier job. It will be the hardest for mechanics who will not have time to repair and prepare race cars, nor will they have time to break. They will really earn their money. On the other hand, as a racer, I see above all the fact that there will be more things in one day, both qualifying and racing, we will be under pressure all the time. We will be under a lot of psychological pressure, but for me, moto sport is the closest sport where there has to be psychological pressure. ”

But there are also a lot of safety questions, as a racer can smash a car in a race on Saturday and thus make some compromises on Sunday. You could give more of yourself in one race, but Spengler denies it: “Both races will be worth the same. Nobody wants to be involved in any accident, so we are always careful and not only whether it is a Sunday race. ”
