Sauber boss Monisha Kaltenborn said before the racing weekend in Brazil: “We are talking intensively about the situation and preparing a financial proposal. It is important that they listen to us and take us into account. We need to gather our views, solutions and talk about them. "
In the end, Kaltenborn said that the owners of CVC were unsuccessfully engaged in seeking help: “They contacted us and detected problems, but they do not have a solution for them yet. I think we have come a long way last week and to a point where we can constructively continue our talks. So at the moment we are still talking and looking for all possible solutions and aspects. But we still have to do something this season. The signals are good, but one is conversations and the other is actions that must now happen very quickly. "
