Pirelli, a tire fitter in Formula 1, has revealed which tires will be available to the teams at the upcoming race in Singapore. Racers will be able to fit purple, red and yellow tires on the racetrack under the lights. Ultra soft, ie. purple are the most desirable option. For the latter, teams were selected between seven and nine of the thirteen sets for the racing weekend.
Ferrari and Haas as well as Sauber racer Marcus Ericsson have picked the most aggressive strategy with nine sets of the fastest version but at the same time the least durable. On the other hand, the Force India and Manor teams decided on the most different strategy from the ones mentioned above. Their race cars will have only six sets of ultra soft tires available. The exact schedule by racers is presented in the picture below.
