Next week, the GTI meeting will be scheduled in Austria, where Seat will show the 330-horsepower model of the new race car for the Leon Cup. The race car will also be on display at the next racing weekend of the World Touring Car Championship in the Salzburgring.

Anyway, we haven't seen the car for once, but the first pictures of the concept have come to light, which indicates what the cars should be like in the mentioned championship. Let us mention that the tests are announced for the coming months, and for once, the fate of participation in the WTCC is still unknown, where Seat no longer cooperates with the factory teams.

Nevertheless, Seat is very active in other touring championships (European, British and Scandinavian), and they also actively participated in drafting new rules for the WTCC, but Jaime Puig, head of Seat's sports department, says: "We have not only the WTCC, but also Leone in ETCC, Supercopa and spare parts for everyone. There are no plans for 2014 yet, but this is definitely not a small bite. "
