The health condition of seven-time Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher is improving, doctors said.

Schumacher underwent another operation at night to remove another blood clot, reducing the pressure in his skull.

The operation was performed on Monday at XNUMX pm, when a medical examination served as an unexpected improvement in the German's condition. Surgeons were able to remove a larger clot on the left side of his brain thanks to his better condition.

“One of the larger clots was also more accessible, so we were able to remove it without much risk,” Dr. Emmanual Gay explained. “Thanks to this, we were able to reduce the pressure in the skull, but we are still struggling with a lot of bleeding,” he explained.

Schumacher’s brain is still full of injuries, doctors say, making it impossible to predict to what extent the German will recover. They confirmed that the former Ferrari ace will be kept in an artificial coma at a reduced body temperature for as long as necessary, as this reduces the brain's need for oxygen, thereby reducing the swelling of these. His condition is slightly more stable than in the last 24 hours.
