Sauber boss Monisha Kaltenborn has confirmed the near-successful conclusion of negotiations with Ferrari. Of course, these are Ferrari engines that Sauber wants to continue using after a successful four years, but the problem is, as always, money. Namely, Sauber is already late with payments to Ferrari for this year's generators, but they have received three large sponsors from Russia, which will soon solve this dilemma.
"We want to continue working with Ferrari and I have to say that we are almost at the end of the contract extension agreement," said Monisha, who added: "We will probably be able to confirm the official extension of our cooperation with Ferrari during the Italian racing weekend." So obviously these are just details that will be resolved soon and maybe in addition to the engines, another racer for the upcoming season will be known - Jules Bianchi.
