Valentino Rossi can't get over the lost title even after a sleepless night. The Italian continues to attack Marco Marquez, who is said to be responsible for losing the title in the last three races of the season.

The dispute between the two racers erupted after a race in Australia, where Rossi finished in fourth place, behind winner Marquez, Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Iannone. The Yamaha racer accused Marquez of making a pact with Lorenzo, whom he helps on the way to winning the championship, and the race in Malaysia added fuel to the fire, where Rossi again sued Marquez, whom he knocked off the track and for that received a penalty, intentionally obstructing during the race.

The passions did not calm down at all, not even at the last race of the season in Valencia. Immediately after the race, Rossi again accused Marquez of unsportsmanlike conduct, as the Spaniard allegedly protected Lorenzo's back.

Although he denied that he could end his career due to the events of recent weeks, he admitted that he does not know what will happen between him and Marquez on the track next season. “In what I do, I am very passionate and I will not change my plans for the future because of what happened. I will continue to do my job, ”Rossi, 36, told reporters.

“I don't see any problems in Jorge and I being a teammate next season. But I'm afraid of what could happen, because I don't know how it will end with a racer like Marquez, who decides not to win the race just to hurt someone else, ”he said. said the nine-time world champion, who started the decisive race in Valencia from last place, where he was pushed by a penalty he received in Malaysia for deliberately pushing off the track and even allegedly kicking Marquez’s motorbike.

The Italian said he is even afraid for the future of MotoGP, given that the young Spaniard will be cutting the very top in the coming years. “Marquez is the future of MotoGP,” Rossi continued. “He is very talented. He is only 22 years old, so he has quite a few more seasons to go. But all weekend he lied and claimed he would do anything to beat Lorenzo as it is important to his team and in the race he did just the opposite. It's a kick in the crotch for everyone, "said the Italian, who also revealed his concerns about Marquez's help to Lorenzo to the MotoGP bosses he met with over the Malaysian dispute on Thursday.

“I met with the boss of the championship and three days in advance I announced what would happen,” he said. “They said it was impossible, and yet it happened exactly like that,” Rossi is convinced.
