Rok Turk in Železniki at the national championship rally

This Saturday, July 4, the third rally for this year's national championship, the Železniki rally, will take place in the Selška valley and in the surrounding hills. Nine speed trials with a total length of 95 kilometers will undoubtedly be a big challenge for the crews, as the rally will count for the points of the national championship for the first time. Rok Turk and Blanka Kacin will also fight for the best possible result. After winning the Saturnus Rally Velenje with a Peugeot 208 T16 class R5, this time they will compete again with a R2 class car, which they are preparing together with the OPV team.

Once again, Rok is optimistic about the start of the rally: “Every time I look forward to new speed trials, which I have not raced before. A lot will depend on how well Blanka and I will list the speed tests on the tour, and for a good ranking it will then be necessary to keep a fast pace from the start to the finish. The competition in the national championship is strong, 39 crews have registered and on Saturday we will have a very hot day one way or another! ”
